Within a research organization, a laboratory working on the strength of materials wants to open a new research program on a specific line.
A Ph.D. student will be in charge to explore any possible tracks matching with the topic.
Prior to starting his search work, he has to realize a complete bibliographical work in order
to gather the whole knowledge of the topic, and then to classify and examine its specificities.

Articles come from queries on CSA, Scopus and STN databases.
Method
Identify main themes and validate the corpus to:
Categorize the topic and identify the sub-themes
Look up in the corpus to:
Examine the “shadow zones” to detect not or just a bit studied points about the topic
Conclusion
On 1570 articles, 80% of the corpus was able to be classified. 10% of the information has been deleted cause judged irrelevant.
10% of the corpus leads innovated ideas. The main line of research have been identified and classified.
The confirmation has been done: the targeted theme has not been traded yet.
The validation about the research topic of the Ph.D. student has been done.
