The search engine is a key of the system. This is a totaly rethought one for this version in order to win both time and search precision.
The time-saving for thesauri and glossaries filling is hudge, indeed just few seconds are needed to fill a 500 values thesaurus from a 1000 documents database.
To use these two categorization tools is now pretty appealing.

The report feature was already very interesting on the previous version with its template creations, its automatic generation and its export to Word. The version 7 allows now to export to PowerPoint as well. It allows also to display reports on the dynamic reading results interface easyLIXIR, in order to distribute them to end-users.

The 7 release of the system takes in account the most recent document and overwrite the older version to keep the updated one in the system. Moreover the system allows you to point out the changes between those two versions of a document by a specific display.
Content changes are detected on the following specifications: For patents: number of members, one member status, number of forward citations (for only sources: Patbase (XML) and Thomson innovation)
For journal articles: citations number (for only sources: Scopus and Web of Sciences), the abstract length (in number of characters)

This feature is a first step toward a system allowing a better management of the updates and allowing also the updated information uses in new statistics representations.
